Nancy earned a Foundations in Design Certificate, graduated with a Bachelors of Applied Design in Interior Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (CIDA accredited) and completed a certificate in Advanced Project Management at Langara College. With a combined 25 years of extensive education and hands on experience from initial design concept through to construction and project completion, Nancy has an innate attention to detail and has proven to be a wealth of knowledge. Being raised in a family run clothing manufacturing business, she developed an eye for quality in the details. Even details that look simple are in fact, very detailed in workmanship, quality of materials and simplicity of lines to achieve that “Simplistic” appearance.

After working for some of the most reputable design firms in Vancouver, Nancy joined NPI to pursue the more challenging ordeals of design and construction management. As lead consultant coordinator and project manager, she focuses on managing the detailed tasks required to execute a successful project. She identifies and foresees potential construction and logistical issues through risk assessment, that may affect the overall budget and project deadline. Successful projects begin with a comprehensive understanding of the client’s needs and expectations. Nancy’s ability to understand her client’s needs based on developing a relationship of respect, trust and confidence has been the key to her success as a designer.

Nancy has a unique approach which she credits to her perspectives – rather others’ perspectives. Meaning, to better understand her clients, other professionals and trades, she often puts herself in their perspective which allows her to communicate more effectively.

When not designing, Nancy’s spare time is consumed by keeping up with her active husband and two young children exploring our Country’s greatest commodity – the outdoors.
